Process

Four Steps From Your Room to a Finished Table

A custom table only works if the process is predictable. Here is exactly how ours runs, and what we need from you at each step.

01

Design

We start from your plans, dimensions, seat count and design intent. Clearances, base locations and material direction get resolved on paper first.

  • Send plans, dimensions, a photo of the room or a sketch on a napkin.
  • We confirm room dimensions, seat count, clearances and base locations.
  • Materials and technology direction are set alongside the room's existing finishes.
02

Rendering

You see the table rendered before fabrication starts, so the shape, slab layout and proportions are approved by the people signing off.

  • You get a rendering of the actual table, in the actual proportions.
  • Slab layout, edge detail and base geometry get reviewed before anything is cut.
  • Revisions happen here, on paper, where they cost nothing.
03

Fabrication

Built in Arizona. Slabs are laid out and cut, the substructure is fabricated, and device cores are cut for the specified power and data.

  • Built in Arizona once the design is approved.
  • Slabs are laid out and cut, substructure fabricated, device cores machined.
  • Long tables are built in sections engineered for the room's access.
04

Installation

Delivered and assembled on site, sectioned when access requires it, and set over the floor boxes it was designed around.

  • Delivered and assembled on site by our team.
  • Set over the floor boxes and aligned to the room.
  • Final walkthrough with you or your client before we leave.

Getting Started

You Do Not Need a Finished Spec

Most projects start with less information than people think they need. If you know roughly how big the room is and how many people have to sit at the table, we can start.

Helpful to have

  • Room dimensions or a floor plan
  • Desired seat count
  • Target install date
  • Materials already specified in the space
  • Power, data and AV requirements
  • Access notes: elevators, doors, stairs

FAQ

Process Questions

How long does a custom table take?
Lead time depends on size, materials and current shop schedule. We give you a specific timeline once the design and materials are set, and we work backward from your install date.
Do you provide drawings for submittals?
Yes. We can provide drawings and renderings for design review, client approval and construction submittals.
What if the table cannot fit through the door?
That is resolved in design. Tables are built in sections when access requires it and assembled in the room.
Do you handle installation yourselves?
Yes. Our team delivers, assembles and sets the table on site.

The Cashwood Companies

Where the Experience Comes From

Cashwood Innovations works on high-end homes and projects through technology, AV and automation. CashScapes extends that work into architectural and landscape lighting. AZ Boardrooms brings the same coordination into custom executive conference and boardroom tables.

Each company has its own specialty. What connects them is the type of project, the designers, architects and contractors they work alongside, and the ability to coordinate details that cross normal trade lines.

Plans, dimensions, seat count, material direction and technology requirements are enough to start. A rough sketch works too.
