Table Direction
Monolith
All stone, top and base
Monolith is all stone. The top and the pedestal base come from the same material, so the table reads as a single block set in the room rather than a surface on legs.
The detail is in the edges and the layout. A thick squared edge, mitered corners, and slab layout planned so the veining carries from the top down through the base.
Length, width, slab selection, edge thickness and base proportions all change with the room. Send the plan and the seat count and we work back from there.

How It Is Built
- Top
- Stone, thick squared edge
- Base
- Stone pedestal, matched to the top
- Reveal
- Shadow line or LED at the base
- Sizing
- Built to the room and seat count
This is how the direction is built, not a fixed size. Length, width and seat count are set by the room.
What Changes Per Project
- Overall length and width
- Stone slab selection and finish
- Edge thickness and profile
- Base proportions and vein layout
- Integrated power, USB-C and data
Planning The Table
What We Work Out Before Fabrication
Slab Selection Comes First
Because the top and the base are the same stone, the slab decision drives the whole table. We lay the slabs out and mark where the veining lands at the head of the table, along the long sides, and down the pedestal, before a single cut is made.
Weight Is Planned With The Building
An all stone table is heavy. We plan the base footprint, the delivery path, and the floor it lands on with your contractor or building manager, and we build the base so the load carries where the floor can take it.
Clearance At Every Seat
A pedestal base is what makes the mass work. We set the pedestal position and setback so no chair meets a leg, and we check knee clearance at the end seats where a stone base is most likely to crowd.
FAQ
Monolith Questions
- Can Monolith Be Built In One Piece
- It depends on the finished length and the path into the room. Longer tops are fabricated in matched sections with the seam planned into the layout so the veining still reads across the joint. We decide this once we have the dimensions and the delivery access.
- Which Stones Work For An All Stone Table
- Granite, quartzite and marble are all used. Leathered and honed finishes hide fingerprints and wear better than a high polish in a room that is used every day, which is why most boardroom tops go that way.
- Can Power And Data Go Into A Stone Top
- Yes. Power, USB-C, data and AV are cut into the surface flush at the seat positions you choose. The cores and channels are planned before fabrication so nothing is chased through the slab after the fact.
- How Do You Handle Delivery And Installation
- We deliver and install the table ourselves, in sections when the access requires it, and set and level it in the room. We walk the route and the elevator or stair access with you before the build so nothing is discovered on install day.
The Cashwood Companies
Where the Experience Comes From
Cashwood Innovations works on high-end homes and projects through technology, AV and automation. CashScapes extends that work into architectural and landscape lighting. AZ Boardrooms brings the same coordination into custom executive conference and boardroom tables.
Each company has its own specialty. What connects them is the type of project, the designers, architects and contractors they work alongside, and the ability to coordinate details that cross normal trade lines.
