Table Direction

Waterfall

Mitered edge, continuous veining

Waterfall runs the top material over a mitered edge and down the side of the table, so the veining reads as one continuous piece from the surface to the floor.

That end panel is also the best place in the room for a mark. We have inlaid a company monogram in contrasting stone on the vertical face, cut and set flush so it is part of the slab rather than applied to it.

The detail depends on slab selection and layout. Slabs are matched and laid out before fabrication so the pattern lines up through the miter and the inlay lands on center.

Specifications

This direction is dimensioned per project. Send us the room dimensions and seat count and we will develop the size, slab layout and detailing around it.

What Changes Per Project

  • Slab selection and vein matching
  • Drop height and miter detail
  • Stone or metal inlay on the end panel
  • Overall length and width
  • Integrated power, USB-C and data

Planning The Table

What We Work Out Before Fabrication

The End Panel Is A Design Decision

The mitered panel is the face people see walking in. Decide early whether it stays clean stone, carries an inlaid monogram, or picks up a metal reveal at the floor, because the layout and the cut change with that choice.

Veining Is Matched Through The Miter

A waterfall only works when the pattern continues around the corner. We book match the slab and dry lay the miter so the veining runs from the top surface down the panel without a visible break.

One End Or Both

A single waterfall end works when the table is seen from one approach. Both ends read more symmetrical in a room with two entries or a glass wall. Slab yield and cost move with that decision, so it is worth settling before fabrication.

FAQ

Waterfall Questions

What Is A Waterfall Edge On A Conference Table
The top material continues over a mitered corner and down the side of the table to the floor, so the stone reads as one continuous piece instead of a surface sitting on a separate base.
Can Our Logo Go On The Waterfall Panel
Yes. We inlay a monogram or logo in contrasting stone, cut and set flush into the vertical face so it is part of the panel rather than applied on top of it. Logos are also engraved into the top at the head of the table.
Does A Waterfall Panel Limit Seating At The End
It changes the end condition, so we plan the panel setback and the seat layout together. If you need working seats at both ends, we detail the panel and clearance around that instead of after it.
Which Materials Suit This Direction Best
Slabs with clear directional movement, such as marble and quartzite, show the effect best because you can see the pattern turn the corner. Quieter stone still works, and the detail then reads through the edge thickness and the miter itself.

The Cashwood Companies

Where the Experience Comes From

Cashwood Innovations works on high-end homes and projects through technology, AV and automation. CashScapes extends that work into architectural and landscape lighting. AZ Boardrooms brings the same coordination into custom executive conference and boardroom tables.

Each company has its own specialty. What connects them is the type of project, the designers, architects and contractors they work alongside, and the ability to coordinate details that cross normal trade lines.
